A leading entertainment organisation based in Luton with a long successful history are currently recruiting a permanent Security Analyst who will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Stonegate IT security landscape, highlighting any gaps in an ever-changing environment.  He/she will be responsible for ensuring that we are protected from both external and internal threats.

This can be broken down to specific responsibilities:  Input to the Security Road Map, Supplier Governance and Monitoring and providing expertise to support development projects.  It is also the Analysts responsibility to ensure all security systems provided by the suppliers are scalable so that performance, capacity, resilience, business continuity requirements are addressed.

Role Requirements:

  • Agree, document and communicate the Security Road Map and Strategy to all stakeholders and key partners
  • Work with our business change team to identify new technologies and innovation so we can examine and review new security techniques
  • Support and monitor the IT Security layer ensuring compliance to external standards and frameworks
  • Manage and mitigate any security incident that may occur, in line with our corporate incident response plan
  • Assist in the selection key suppliers involved the delivery of Security services
  • Assist in Infrastructure and Security projects both internally and with our suppliers
  • Support the IT projects function to ensure that new solutions are fit for purpose and meet infrastructure and security design standards
  • Ensure security levels on firewalls, network, infrastructure and servers are defined and maintained
  • Ensure PCI-DSS Audits are carried out on an annual basis and ensure any remediation is put in place
  • Ensure security testing is carried out across the estate as required
  • Work closely with the IT Director to ensure we drive forward our GDPR activities

Essential

  • CCSP or CCSK v4 certified
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good technical knowledge of Infrastructure services, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC and network segmentation
  • Understanding of GDPR and PCI-DSS
  • The ability interface between the business and technology groups
  • The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team Player

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience of IAM, SEIM and DLP
  • Experience of Web and Cloud technologies and support
  • Knowledge of LAN and WAN Networking technologies knowledge
  • Experience of working within ITIL frameworks
  • Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks and its practical application including ISO27001/27002
  • Experience of working in the retail or hospitality industry
